Description

Dentsu is looking for a Transition/Service Delivery Manager to support the implementation and maintenance of its Finance Operating Model. The Transition Manager will report to the Regional Director of Finance Services & Transformation and work closely with the senior Finance team in market to plan, manage and execute the transition of finance activities from the local market to the Shared Service Centre or Centre of Excellence delivering efficiencies and improve the effectiveness of the finance function. Successful projects are delivered on schedule at quality standards governed by using the transition methodology, while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction. Consideration of change, active stakeholder management and engagement will be required.

Transition/Service Delivery Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides effective project management of market transitions through implementation of agreed change management methodologies
  • Plans, schedules, and monitors execution of project tasks
  • Engages proactively with the market finance teams to ensure communications, HR & process changes are completed effectively
  • Liaises between the retained Dentsu organisation and the shared service partner including reviews on efficiency improvements
  • Evaluates and reviews contractual and operational Service Level Agreements and approve any action plans resulting from service performance failures
  • Participates in and leads governance forums to ensure the quality of services provided by any shared service partner
  • Liaises with other regional CI teams and GPO teams to drive best practice and operational improvements through the introduction of technology-enabled solutions
  • Supports implementation of target systems architecture by identifying required process changes and supporting change management efforts
  • Reviews available benchmark data and service management surveys to identify areas for improvement
  • Provides local transition support for new corporate system integrations and operating models

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 6-8 years’ experience in a finance, prior shared services experience/BPO is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Independent self-starter with problem solving skills
  • Strong organization abilities and the ability to multi-task in a fast-pace environment
  • Strong team collaborator with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies
  • Attention of detail
