Head of Financial Reporting & Shared Services (DU)

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all monthly, quarterly, and year-end deadlines are met.
• Manage external auditors and oversee audit processes.
• Prepare quarterly board reports and business plan forecasts.
• Oversee decommissioning and restoration accounting in compliance with DMRE regulations.
• Perform financial modeling for impairment and corporate finance purposes.
• Deliver technical training for the finance team.
• Manage and support the Shared Services and Accounts Payable (AP) team, ensuring strong partnerships with business units.

Qualification & Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• CA (South Africa) certification.

Experience

• 5–10 years of post-articles experience in a finance management role.
• Proven experience in preparing financial statements.
• Mining industry experience is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Strong IFRS knowledge.
• Proficiency in SAP and Caseware.
• Financial modeling and corporate finance expertise.

• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Must meet the requirements for a Certificate of Medical Fitness.
