Cost Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities

Lead and control P2P process

  • Maintain the good and seamless P2P (Procurement to Payment) processes, guidelines and policies across the stakeholders from agency, shared services centers (SSC), regional offices and head office.
  • Ensure the P2P process to be in place, to be followed and implemented properly by complying with group policies & procedures, charge costs and accounting entries, cost centers, person-in-charges, required supporting documents.
  • Ensure the P2P process in compliance with statutory requirements including valid invoices, tax rates, supporting documents, external and internal audits trails.
  • Instruct GBS to build payments batch, review and confirm payment proposal with sufficient supporting documents for release of payment to vendors.
  • Assist shared services centers (SSC) for smoothly operation by communicating to vendor on payment backlog, statutory requirements, required supporting documents.
  • Conduct the monthly SSC services performance on P2P process provided to agency including invoices booking timelines and accuracy, AP payments, AP creditors, cost control, request for information (RFI) and backlog.
  • Review and confirm monthly AP creditor statement reconciliation with vendors for payment records.
  • Facilitate vendor statement confirmation as per vendor’s request for its audit / tax purposes.
  • Define vendors segmentation
  • Maintain accurate information for vendor setup / update and match to written agreements.
  • Follow up GBS performance KPI and specifically monitor RFI
  • Track progress of Special Agreements and Rebates

Qualification & Requirements

  • Major: Finance and Accounting
  • At least 8-year experience in finance and accounting, preferable in multinational companies.
  • Good communication, strong skills of problem solving and hard-working
  • Be performance driven person, KPIs monitoring and process improvement.
  • English: good at writing and speaking
  • Computer: proficient in MS Office and fundamental computer science and SAP is preferable.
