Description

As Operations Director for Traton Financial Services (encompassing Scania Finance GB Limited, Scania Finance Ireland Limited and MAN Financial Services) you will form part of our senior leadership team, playing a pivotal role within our organisation. Reporting into the Traton Financial Services Central Operations Vice President, you will oversee all aspects of operations in the UK and Ireland, driving operations forward to ensure the business has an infrastructure and backbone that is continuously developing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, coach, and continuously improve our people, teams, and processes.
  • Develop and execute the company’s operational strategies to support the attainment of goals, set by the boards.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve a transparent, effective, and compliant shared service organisation (people, processes, systems).
  • Enable and support the Traton Financial Services brands to reach their commercial targets.
  • Implement comprehensive business plans which will support cost-effective operations.
  • Implement methods and processes to share services and costs in a transparent and fair manner.
  • Ensure Traton Financial Services and local company policies, procedures and legal guidelines are implemented, communicated, and followed throughout the organisation.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers, stakeholders and authorities which are related to operational matters.
  • Support and assist the Brand Directors (Managing Directors), in reaching the company’s overall financial performance and investments.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Proven leadership – exposure to senior leadership, with a focus on financial operations.
  • Operational excellence – drive, passion, and proven track record of implementing and developing operational excellence throughout an organisation.
  • Commercial acumen – strong commercial understanding.
  • Risk & Compliance – risk and compliance awareness and prevention.
  • Communication – ability to build and manage relationships, developing a broad-based network and influencing others.
