Description

The Senior Manager Operations is responsible for driving the operational efforts, internal and field based, to achieve annual goals for market expansion and overall membership growth in commercial, Medicare Advantage and Medi-Cal products, including expansion into new regions, populations, and communities.

Key Responsibilities

Serves as the organization’s point person for developing relationships for new enrollment, as well as new enrollment collaborations and partnership with providers. Will be accountable for managing key payer relationships. In partnership with the Chief Operating Officer, will be accountable for building and implementing annual strategic business plans.

Qualification & Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • 5 years Health care, health system or consulting experience with a minimum of three to five year of experience in health insurance, clinically integrated network or ACO arrangements at a leadership level comparable to the Growth Manager position outlined in the job description
  • Demonstrated experience in health care growth and/or business development with a record of successfully implementing initiatives to achieve outstanding results
  • Demonstrated analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in an integrated health system similar to Providence Health & Services and have significant health plan, CIN or ACO experience
  • Experience in entrepreneurial or start-up environments
