Head of Accounting, Treasury & Tax

Key Responsibilities

Project Mango Go-Live targets

• Support the setup and successful go-live of Project Mango
• Build and manage the Accounting Team
• Ensuring the Accounting system (SWT) and other related systems (including SPM, SDB, ProQ etc) are setup properly for a smooth operation of the Logistic Center
• Setup the relevant Policy and Processes for the new entity
• Support the setup of the necessary agreements for the new entity
• Monitor the common function support for the project

Management of financial targets

• Support achievement of Profit Targets and RoS
• Monitor G&A target
• Management of operations
• Ensure smooth and timely closing of accounts and HQ reporting
• Ensure efficient and timely management of statutory audits and accounts
• Ensure details of all accounts are efficiently managed and kept up-to-date
• Ensure the establishment of a routine and timely monthly review and report
• Support the standardization of processes and systems

Management of statutory requirements and projects

• Ensure statutory requirements fulfillment and timeliness
• Ensure efficient and timely management of audits and accounts
• Ensure successful implementation of projects

Management of shared services function and team dedication

• Manage the expectation of shared services function
• Manage and develop team members and support a diverse workforce
• Ensure adequate training coverage for team members

Management of customers and vendors’ relationship

• Manage the overall expectation from customers and vendors

Qualification & Requirements

Education level/Training

• Master Degree in Economics or equivalent

Experience

• (Type of)At least 10 years post graduate experience in Accounting, Treasure and Taxation
• Experience in SAP system

Specific Knowledge/Skill

• Management of a team of assistant managers/executives
• Team and work with higher management of the organization
• Accounting standards and compliance requirements
• Tax statutory planning, compliance and optimization
