Head of IT Service Delivery

Key Responsibilities

  • In the midst of moving from a sole IT Systems provider to a multiple vendor, SIAM based operation, our client – a highly respected, award winning £billion business – is now looking for a talented IT professional to lead them into the post migration phase and beyond.
  • It’s a brand-new role, reporting to the CIO, where you’ll become responsible for the set up and day-to-day management of the fully integrated system. This will focus on overseeing the delivery of an IT shared services strategy and roadmap across multiple locations that supports and meets the needs of the business right across the UK.
  • Leading a large team and acting as a strategic partner between the IT Division, external suppliers and senior internal stakeholders, your role will involve Standardizing procedures, monitoring performance, ensuring excellent service provision and making tangible improvements…plus much, much more!

Qualification & Requirements

  • Evidence of significant IT Delivery Best Practice experience, including the successful management of multiple 3rd party suppliers and leading service delivery across a multi-site operation
  • First-hand knowledge of IT Service and Systems integration, ideally involving some exposure to the to transition / migration process from existing to new providers (use of SIAM model preferred)
  • Professional / ITIL qualifications, linked to exceptional leadership and coaching abilities, along with a demonstrable track record of developing high-performing IT teams
  • A good all-round understanding of IT service portfolio management, including infrastructure, systems, applications, and security
