Director Group Accounting

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the global accounting function, defining strategy, operating models, and transformation initiatives.
  • Manage and develop the global accounting team, overseeing training and professional growth.
  • Shape Kanadevia Inova’s Shared Service concept and play a key role in ERP solution design and deployment.
  • Drive the creation, analysis, and reporting of key accounting KPIs, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Supervise the application of accounting principles, ensuring compliance and effective communication across stakeholders.
  • Coordinate external financial audits and reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Support M&A activities, financing, and internal controls, collaborating with Business Units and the parent company.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Controlling, or Business Administration; (CPA, ACCA, or CIMA certification is preferred).
  • 10+ years of accounting experience in an international industrial company, with proven leadership in group accounting.
  • Expertise in developing and managing local and global accounting/finance structures.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data for diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, IFS) and Microsoft Office; experience with reporting/consolidation tools (e.g., Tagetik).
  • Knowledgeable in IFRS and local GAAP; familiarity with project accounting rules is a plus.
