Description
Key Responsibilities
- Foster and maintain strong strategic relationships across the vendors that provide member services and critical operations.
- Ensure third-party governance is conducted in accordance with the AustralianSuper Third Party Management Framework including oversight and management of the relevant Member third party service providers.
- Services are delivered in accordance with agreed terms and service issues addressed promptly.
- Change management is controlled across the vendor service chain.
- Ensure the relationship managers develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Provide the strategic overlay to ensure the vendor service chain consistently meets the Fund strategic goals.
- Ensure vendor performance is monitored against agreed-upon metrics and service levels.
- Ensure the performance of the end-to-end service chain is within the Fund’s tolerances
Qualification & Requirements
- At least 10 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management or similar field where multiple vendors are part of the service value chain. Experience in the financial services industry is highly desirable.
- Strong proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to set a clear vision and inspire teams across different functions to work towards common goals.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously. Proficiency in contract management and performance monitoring tools.
- Proficiency in fostering a collaborative environment where team members from various departments can work together seamlessly.
- Strong analytical skills to identify issues and develop innovative solutions to solve problems.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and new challenges.
- Ability to manage and resolve conflicts that may arise between different functional areas and delivery partners ensuring outcomes are achieved.
- Understanding of the technical tools and systems used within the organization to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Ensuring that the shared services model aligns with and supports the overall customer experience and satisfaction.
- Ability to think strategically and see how parts interact with the whole (i.e. big picture thinking, across people systems, process & data) so that shared services can successfully support the broader business objectives.
- Australian or New Zealand citizenship or Australian permanent residency status is required.
