VP of Financial Control

Key Responsibilities

• Driving Excellence: Maintain and enhance our financial control framework and ensure compliance across all Merlin sites.
• Leading Systems and Processes: Oversee the strategic development of group reporting and accounting systems.
• External Reporting: Deliver accurate, compliant financial reports, ensuring the highest standards for statutory audits and annual reports.
• People Leadership: Mentor and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.

Qualification & Requirements

• A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with 10-15 years PQE, ideally Big 4 trained.
• Proven experience in multi-national, multi-site organisations with a strong grasp of IFRS.
• Expertise in financial policies, compliance, and managing finance systems in cash-based businesses.
• A dynamic leader with a track record of developing teams and driving organisational performance.
• Experience with shared service centres and payroll operations is highly desirable.
