Inviting applications for the role of Vice President, Finance & Accounting Operations

We are looking for someone with extensive knowledge and understanding of entire value chain in F&A in the Insurance industry. The role is based out of NCR.

Vice President – Finance & Accounting Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Service delivery right from inception to steady state
  • Provide required support to the Business Development Team in their pursuit of new clients
  • Understand the changing environment / client needs and providing solutions
  • Manage a large Span of complex business and operations teams.
  • Ownership of day-to-day Operations to deliver predictable output and oversee key business metrics
  • Network within the organization to form relationships at all levels (decision-makers and influencers)
  • Establish clear, ambitious, and achievable transformation objectives that align with the company’s strategic vision.
  • Front ending with senior client stakeholders and have the ability to understand requirements and deliver solutions
  • Will be Required to deliver End to End business impact and drive productivity to ensure best-in class implementations / streamlining the onshore / off shore operation
  • Managing knowledge design, implementation and support for complex F&A work. Monitor and review the solution implementation process in a collaborative manner

Qualification & Requirements

Minimum

  • A Chartered Accountant with experience across Accounting Firms and F&A shared services of Insurance companies
  • Multi year experience across Financial Control, FP&A and Regulatory reporting for Insurance entities
  • High degree of Analytical skills and client relationship management
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred

  • Preference for individuals who have significant experience in Business Finance / FP&A
  • Strong financial analytical skills and problem solving skills
  • Proven understanding of Insurance related F&A, including the production of externally reported financials, Actuarial valuation, Solvency reporting, understanding of key controls and ability to manage a large team in a remote environment
  • A good understanding of commonly used ERPs and some experience in managing system changes
