Description
Reporting to Vice President, ABG Shared Services, this role will lead our Customer Subrogation organization which includes the ABG vehicle damage claims process, salvage processing, post repair order creation processing and collections, tolls and violations oversight and collections, and impound and repossession fee collections.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and build a high performing organization with strong employee engagement including coaching and mentoring of direct reports
- Obtain a best-in-class cost structure by codifying best practices, enabling decisions through technology, and democratizing data for visibility and accountability
- Achieve subrogation billing and cash recovery targets across multiple brands and locations in the US
- Drive innovation through partnerships with our IT and data analytics team to improve customer experience, improve collection rates and reduce expense targets
- Lead strategic initiatives including vendor negotiations, technology rollouts and other collections and cost optimization opportunities
- Develop dashboards and reporting to share real-time visibility on subrogation initiatives, including KPIs and financial metrics
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in a relevant role, demonstrating leadership and team-building skills.
- Proven experience in supplier relations and managing strategic partnerships.
- Strong understanding of subrogation processes claims management, and collections.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across various teams and departments.
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and optimize performance in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using technology and data analytics tools to enhance operational efficiency.
