Senior Accounting Manager (Shared Services Center)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Record-to-Report migration of finance activities for APAC countries, stabilization of activities post migration and standardization of processes.
• Ensure collaboration between in-country finance team and KL BSC team to achieve completion of monthly/quarterly/yearly Corp deadlines. Drive compliance of finance policies and internal controls. This includes US GAAP, SOX compliance and support of annual statutory audit and tax filings.
• Ensure the execution of Record-to-Report (RTR) function
• Provide technical accounting support or clarification of EW finance policies to other internal stakeholders or functions.
• Identify opportunities and lead the implementation of changes to drive improvements for in-country finance teams and KL BSC
• Provide coaching, people management and leadership to finance teams Other incidental duties

Qualification & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in in Accounting or Finance, 10 years’ experience of previous work related experience required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese (Japanese N1/N2 level preferred)
• Working hours: 8:30-17:30, Mon : Fri

Interviews: 3 times (Japanese and English)
