Description

The GBS Lead and Finance Manager is a key role within the organization, with the main responsibility of leading, managing, and developing the GBS and Finance Team in Guadalajara, Mexico, to deliver high-quality services to the businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain strategies, policies, organization and objectives for the Americas GBS.
  • Ensure provision of high quality management and decision support activity to the GBS and Finance Organization.
  • Build and develop a high performing GBS and create and maintain a process driven culture focused on customer satisfaction, quality, efficiency and operational excellence.
  • Ensure that all accounting processes are timely performed and according to internal policies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Develop and implement processes, programs and tools to drive quality assurance and quality improvement, end to end process efficiency and continuous improvement
  • Drive transfer of new scope to the GBS and support transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure service security and continuity.
  • Build and maintain internal/external customers and stakeholders

Qualification & Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in business services or a related field, with at least 5 of managing a 50+ finance department or GBS center
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and process improvements.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and experience in applicable GAAP.
  • Experience with working in an international business environment
  • Availability to travel for about 2-4 times per year.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master’s degree or ACCA preferred).
  • Excellent English is required
