Description
Our client in the global shared services space is searching for a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manage who will be responsible for driving business planning and strategy development, as well as translating business needs into actionable projects to achieve operational excellence and business objectives.
This role will lead the production of accurate management information, evaluate financial issues, and provide recommendations to guide future decisions in alignment with business goals.
Additionally, the role involves managing financial planning and analysis functions, collaborating with senior management to achieve company goals, and directing financial operations to meet or exceed strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain management strategies and objectives of the business unit.
- Translate business strategy into operational objectives for specific lines of business.
- Develop quantitative analysis for company and peer financial performance and valuation by building financial models.
- Ensure individual and team compliance with industry and Company guidelines and policies.
- Manage budgeted resources by anticipating expenditures, accurately forecasting resource needs/costs and properly accounting for expenses to meet requirements and achieve fiscal responsibility
- Build relationships by collaborating, communicating and coordinating resources across departments, and business units.
- Lead the team to respond to critical issues and exceptions appropriately.
- Develop and execute strategies to help achieve the goals and objectives of the organization.
- Drive the development, refinement and implementation of financial plans that will deliver optimal results.
- Attract, develop, and retain a high-quality workforce with the knowledge, skill, and will to deliver excellent outcomes and customer service.

Qualification & Requirements
- Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in FP&A.
- Cross-functional support, global projects, BPO experience are advantageous.
- Experience in the insurance industry, exposure to AIFRS is advantageous.
- Significant related work experience, people management experience, background in consulting, financial planning and analysis, working on a global team, preferably in a Shared Service background
- Strategic planning, extensive financial role experience, data analysis & reporting experience, increasing levels of responsibility, managing or leading others.
