Description

We are looking for a Director of Tech Infrastructure to join McDonald’s in India. This person will report directly into the VP of McDonald’s in India, and indirectly the Senior Director of GTIO Network Operations. The Tech Lead will manage the technology infrastructure at the McDonald’s in India Office in Hyderabad, ensuring seamless and secure services that align with global standards. This role will partner with McDonald’s in India teams to provide tailored tech solutions, optimize infrastructure operations, and drive service improvements. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership skills to support McDonald’s in India operational and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

While no two days are likely to be the same, your typical responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the tech infrastructure needs of the McDonald’s in India , including network operations, data storage, cybersecurity, and user support, ensuring reliable and secure services.
  • Partner with McDonald’s in India teams to align tech services with their operational requirements, providing tailored infrastructure solutions and ongoing support.
  • Develop tech performance metrics and monitor McDonald’s in India infrastructure services, using insights from McDonald’s in India team’s feedback to drive continuous service improvements.
  • Oversee day-to-day technology management within the McDonald’s in India , addressing technical issues, managing system maintenance, and implementing standardized processes to enhance service quality.
  • Collaborate with McDonald’s in India teams to identify tech needs, planning infrastructure upgrades or enhancements that support McDonald’s India operations and business growth.
  • Design, implement, and manage the technology infrastructure strategy to support McDonald’s India operational and strategic goals, ensuring scalability and alignment with global tech standards.
  • Ensure compliance with technology security policies and practices, implementing robust cybersecurity measures to protect McDonald’s India data and infrastructure.
  • Oversee tech infrastructure projects, including budgeting, planning, and implementation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to best practices.

Qualification & Requirements

Who we are looking for:

  • 15+ years of work experience in tech infrastructure management, preferably in a shared service center (SSC) environment.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (e.g., B.Tech, M.Tech). Certifications in tech infrastructure management (e.g., ITIL, CCNA, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
  • Strong technical knowledge of infrastructure components, including networks, servers, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
  • Proven experience in tech project management, including budgeting, planning, and implementing infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues quickly and effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in building and developing high-performing tech teams.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and align tech services with business needs.
  • Proficiency in performance monitoring and data analysis to optimize infrastructure services and align them with McDonald’s India and regional/business needs.
