Role: Accounting and Finance Country Head – BPO Shared Services

Accounting and Finance Country Head – BPO Shared Services

Key Responsibilities

Interfaces:

  • Internal – Delivery & Business Teams, Support functions, Corporate Finance team
  • External – Regulatory authorities, Auditors, Vendors

Financial and Tax Reporting and Analysis

  • Ensure finalization of accounts and financial reporting within the defined timelines.
  • Liaise with statutory auditors / internal auditors and ensure compliance to periodic audits.
  • Represent / co-ordinate with tax agencies / corporate tax team on all aspects pertaining to taxation.

Control and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Fiscal & Statutory laws
  • Monitor and Comply with the requirements of PEZA, BIR, SEC etc
  • Manage and front-end statutory internal as well as external audits
  • Monitor compliance of expense policy, highlight & resolve non-compliance, if any
  • Implement internal control systems for the Country and ensure compliance to standards

Strategic planning

  • Contributes to formulation of strategic and tactical planning & budgeting for the Country.
  • Manage the finance department and aligns the function’s strategy with the internal, external requirements and TCS corporate guidelines.
  • Manage the Taxation function and review the taxation processes.

Cost management & payment processing

  • Prepare costing/budget for the process and seek necessary approvals from the management and all relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage and track, accurate and timely processing of vendor payments, charge backs etc.

Team Management

  • Manage a team of 3-4 members
  • Sets reasonable, challenging, and clear performance goals for direct reports, monitors performance and give feedback.
  • Motivates team for achieving personal, professional and team goals through timely guidance

Qualification & Requirements

Experience

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with 10-12 years of relevant experience and independently managing a Finance department.
