Description

As the Senior Manager, Accounts Receivable, you’ll oversee the entire invoice-to-cash cycle, including credit policy, customer creditworthiness, invoicing, collections strategy, and key performance metrics. You’ll manage a team responsible for credit, billing, collections, and cash applications, ensuring smooth operations and driving improvements to meet company goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage credit, billing, collections, and cash application teams.
  • Oversee the AR collections process, resolving customer inquiries, disputes, and payment delays.
  • Champion process improvements to enhance billing efficiency, collections, and cash flow.
  • Develop and implement effective invoice treatment strategies and coordinate district collection activities.
  • Collaborate with internal divisions to address collection challenges and streamline processes.
  • Monitor delinquent accounts, ensuring compliance with payment terms and minimizing risk.
  • Prepare AR reserve analysis and provide month-end reporting on DSO, aged balances, and cash collections.
  • Drive automation initiatives and process optimizations to reduce the cash collection cycle.
  • Analyze customer accounts, resolve issues, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
  • 5–10 years of progressive experience in billing and collections, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in collections and credit practices, including familiarity with tools like Get Paid or Bill.com.
  • Proficiency with NetSuite and PowerBI (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS and technical accounting concepts.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and lead process improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
