Chief Operating Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a strong operational foundation to support brands in realizing their strategic goals and growth plans and ensure that operational performance meets customer demands
• Optimization of internal reporting including setting up relevant KPI’s for operational performance
• Overall responsibility for:
• .. a competitive and cost-efficient in-house product assembly setup
• .. ensuring best-in-class warehousing operations and stock management
• .. framework and progress within compliance and quality management
• .. a cost-efficient inbound and outbound logisticssetup
• Ensure progress regarding defined ESG strategy and goals
• ERP and IT development and operations including BI and master data
• Continuous dialogue with the brands and their external production partners to optimize cooperation and processes related to Sourcing, Purchasing, Product Development and Quality Management

Qualification & Requirements

• We are looking for a COO with a strong business acumen, who in addition to ensuring operation, optimization and development, can take on a key role in developing ASTARRI’s shared service center. Here, you will also need your skills in strategy and leadership and your ability to build and sustain close partnerships.
• As a manager, you are communicative and present. Your management experience has taught you that involvement is alpha and omega when it comes to ensuring collaboration across the organization and well-being and motivation among your employees. At the same time, you yourself are a real team player who takes on cross-cutting administrative tasks – which you do based on an overview, structure and proactivity.
• Educationally, you have a relevant background within supply chain, manufacturing, and/or operations combined with experience from a broad role in a trading company or a manufacturing company, preferably as COO. Here, you have brought your cost-conscious and your growth-oriented mindset into play.
• It is important that you are fluent in both Danish and English, as this is crucial for effective collaboration with the international team, customers and stakeholders. In terms of IT, you have knowledge of both ERP systems and BI solutions, while you are also able to utilize Excel’s potential in daily task solving.
