Description

As the inaugural leader of the Global Shared Services (“GSS”) team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the strategy for transactional processing activities, resulting in cost-effectiveness, improved controls and streamlined/efficient processes. The GSS leader will implement processes and procedures that operate standardized best practices and consistent quality for all of Lineage’s global legal entities and business units. You will set near- and long-term strategic direction for service delivery and ensure alignment with objectives and business planning for shared services. You will drive the standardization of shared service operations and be accountable for service quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Leadership

  • Develop, implement and manage a clear vision, strategy and action plan under the Global Shared Services model in collaboration with the Finance leadership team and other key stakeholders.
  • Determine initial in-scope activities for Sales to Cash, Invoice to Pay, Record to Report,; develop a medium to long-term roadmap for other activities within those and other processes, potentially non-finance team related as well.
  • Build, lead, develop and manage a best-in-class GSS team.
  • Develop, implement, maintain and further improve KPIs and SLAs. Analyze trends, conduct forecasting, and make strategic data-driven business decisions.
  • Drive transformations and continuous improvement across all service lines and processes by developing and implementing a consistent process improvement methodology.
  • Identify and integrate analytics, automation, and other digital capabilities into the existing functions to support the service lines effectively.
  • Ensure clear communication channels and effective stakeholders from a strategic and tactical perspective.

Operation Management

  • Accountable for the efficient and accurate operation of GSS processes.
  • Maintain service delivery standards, key metrics, and service level agreements in coordination with process owners and key stakeholders
  • Implement new technologies and systems to enhance and automate GSS processes. Act as the main internal and external conduit for systems, data, and processes within the GSS. Steer the continuous development, improvement, and integration of digital tools, applications, and processes to support the effective delivery of services.
  • Strengthen compliance and risk-management practices and monitor their implementation, ensuring effective risk identification and the definition and application of mitigation measures.
  • Ensure the transition to and support for effective solutions to resolve issues swiftly.
  • Lead effective talent management and succession planning
  • Achieve high internal and external customer satisfaction. Conduct periodic reviews with Lineage customers, and end-users, focusing on user-centricity, continuous improvement, and potential optimization.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent certification in business administration, finance, accounting or related field
  • 10+ years of professional experience in finance shared services, experience working with multinational organizations
  • 5-7 years in senior management roles in a global organization
  • Experience in leading change programs affecting large groups of individuals within organizations
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, especially with senior leadership
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and resource-planning abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, lead, and develop diverse teams, promoting an inclusive work environment
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management, able to influence across various departments and levels
  • Forward-thinking and innovative in addressing complex issues
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective collaboration
  • Robust planning discipline with excellent conceptual and organizational skills
