Description
The Director of Transformation will lead, coordinate, and communicate major finance initiatives and projects, ensuring their execution and deliverables align with the goals of efficiency and effectiveness in the finance function. This role will also oversee the implementation of PMO policies, methods, procedures, and templates to ensure full compliance with PMO standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project-manage the operational finance initiatives and projects for the finance function.
- Implement best-in-class delivery for all finance and accounting workflows and processes.
- Lead system implementation with regional finance teams in line with PMO guidelines.
- Support the regional Shared Services in their efforts to implement the 3Ps (people, process, and platform) model.
- Support the Group Finance Director to complete the 15 new financial procedures.
- Intercompany Process Automation: Redefining operations and accounting for our intercompany initiatives to realize considerable benefits in areas including tax and treasury including implementing the intercompany netting engine.
- Lead the implementation of the AR automation processes and systems.
- Support the CFO in developing the finance Up-Right Finance Academy program.
- Support additional PMO activities and projects as needed.
Qualification & Requirements
- Has implemented and coordinated finance transformation programs in the past. Preferably was part of managing a Financial Shared Services Centre.
- Strong knowledge and experience of finance projects (end to end) and preferably experience with D365/Dynamics, Tempest, Timespay and Attache.
- A financial background/education and working experience in a Senior role in PMO role with a finance and accounting focus.
- Has experience with optimizing and improving processes and system implementation (via Lean methodology).
- Able to travel to Kuala Lumpur regularly when required.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
