Are you a procurement professional looking to build something new and exciting for the Global Procurement Organization (GPO) at Amazon? We are looking for people with a passion to innovated, build and lead a new team in specific regions around the Globe to enable our organization to influence more spend and delight our customers.

Senior Manager, Procurement , Global Procurement Operations

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and leading a global team of Regional Spend Champions
  • Prioritizing the “right” projects for the team to deliver results
  • Define criteria to determine total cost of ownership or the best return on investment
  • Developing metrics and goals for the team
  • Delivering results on metrics and goals
  • Enable or stand-up mechanism to track and audit performance
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders and customers
  • Direct involvement in strategic planning processes and communication

Qualification & Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 7+ years of program or project management experience
  • 7+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 10+ years of category procurement experience utilizing RFx process
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
  • Experience defining program requirements using data and metrics
  • Risk Management with general understanding of geopolitics impacts across the supply chain
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, supply management, or finance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget with quality
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CSPM)
  • Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM)
  • Certified Professional Purchasing Manager (CPPM)
  • MBA
