Description
LHH Professional Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Business Unit Controller for a Northeast Houston area client. The ideal candidate must have experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably overseeing finance and accounting functions for various locations and providing operational performance guidance. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day general accounting functions
- Review financial results and key performance indicators with management
- Perform manufacturing costs analysis on standard cost basis
- Manage monthly reporting of financial and operational results
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting and related reporting
- Establish controls and lead initiatives to consolidate and develop a shared services framework
- Work with departments to develop cost savings measures
- Ad hoc projects or reporting, as needed
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelors and/or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 8+ years of solid accounting and finance experience
- Manufacturing or plant experience, required
- Experience in a high paced environment
- Solid communicator and ability to take initiative
