Our client is a renowned player within the Services industry with a global presence for over a century. They are currently looking for Global Payroll Lead to join their dynamic team to assist in the business of the company.

Global Payroll Lead / Director (Shared Services)

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee the global payroll team, ensuring efficient payroll operations and exceptional service delivery to all stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement a global payroll strategy that aligns with organizational goals and supports business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international payroll regulations, including tax laws, labor laws, and reporting requirements.
  • Lead initiatives to streamline payroll processes, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with third-party payroll service providers, ensuring they meet performance standards and compliance requirements.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in payroll management, with significant experience in team management and outsourcing payroll services.
  • Experience managing payroll operations across at least one or two regions, such as APAC, Europe, or the US.
  • Extensive knowledge of global payroll practices, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in Shared Services, Global Business Services (GBS), or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) companies is a plus.
