Description

Nextracker, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Business Systems & Services, Shared Resource Center (SRC) to build and oversee our offshore delivery and support services for our business applications & data systems. Reporting to the Global Head of Business Systems & Services in Fremont, CA the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management, delivery and support of our business applications & data systems at our Offshore center in Hyderabad, ensuring speed and quality of program delivery and best-in-class support services.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Management

  • Lead the build-up and scale of the IT Business Services SRC at Hyderabad, India reporting to, and in coordination with the Global Head of Business Applications and Data system in Fremont, CA.
  • Provide the leadership in driving best-in-class processes around application design, delivery and support services for our Business and Data systems.
  • Engage with the functional teams to understand the functional capability requirements, bringing the business process and technical experience to drive a solution set that enables the system capability.
  • Provide the functional SOX, SDLC and change control process leadership working closely with the governance team.

Application Design and Delivery

  • Plan, design, develop and deliver programs on time, on-budget and with high-quality.
  • Optimize the process to enable speed and agility of delivery.
  • Bring the domain experience both from business process and technology to design and drive optimal solution set.
  • Keep the application stack current, in line with the vendor upgrade and patches.

Support Services

  • Establish a level 1 and level 2 support services construct that can quickly triage and get the services back online based on the severity of the issue and pre-defined SLA.
  • Lead process improvements to optimize our support services and drive quality related feedback into the delivery process.
  • Support time-sensitive events like month-end and qtr.-end close processes.

Human Resources & Development

  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the workforce.
  • Manage staffing levels, recruitment, and retention strategies to ensure optimal resourcing and spending.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in Application Development, Delivery, Support in preferably a multi-national manufacturing and supply chain company.
  • Proven experience in building and successfully managing a similar shared-services construct.
  • Strong technical background in one or more key applications like ERP (preferably NetSuite), Salesforce, MuleSoft, Supply Chain planning and execution systems, MES/Manufacturing systems etc.
  • Good understanding of key business processes like Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-pay, record-to-report, Design through build processes, etc.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
