Description
Our US Global Freight Services division is seeking a Senior Manager – Finance & Accounting to join our team!
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the finance team as a key business partner providing financial planning, business analyses, commercial support and advice to the US Global Freight Business Unit and Corporate Office
- Manage the accounting and shared service team on full accounting functions to support daily business operations and ensure accurate financial results are presented in the management and statutory accounts
- Provide monthly reports and analyses on a timely basis to support management decisions and satisfy corporate requirements
- Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process in collaboration with country BU management and provide analyses for presentation to corporate management
- Monitor working capital and credit control to ensure business risks within corporate policy
- Improve process compliance, productivity and internal controls including systems enhancement projects
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by senior management
Qualification & Requirements
- Accounting degree or AICPA equivalent professional qualification
- 8 years’ financial experience of which 5 years controllership role with offshore team management experience
- Freight forwarding business experience and CargoWise system working knowledge preferred
- Experience in developing and working with reporting tools and database an extra credit
- Strong commercial acumen, hands-on manager with excellent communication and people skills
- Robust and able to handle multiple demands of internal stakeholders (country, regional, corporate)
- A team player able to lead and coach the team to deliver high quality results within timelines
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability in a multiple system developing environment
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Manager – Finance & Accounting
Benefits
- The approximate annual base salary range for this position is $100,000.00 – $140,000.00. The offered salary or salary range for this position will vary based on role requirements, skill set and years of experience.
