Description

Avaali is seeking an experienced Sales Head to lead our B2B sales efforts based out of Bangalore, India. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15-20 years of experience handling a territory such as India with deep understanding of selling enterprise software solutions to large enterprises in Indian geography.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a country-wide and territory-wise strategy, with key success criteria built into it.
  • Closely track the performance of sales teams to deliver results.
  • Develop a lead generation and business development strategy.
  • Excellence in territory coverage and generating leads from various geographies across India.
  • Accelerate the pace of customer connections and reduce cycle time to generate leads.
  • Collaborate with marketing on lead-generation initiatives that maximize ROI.
  • Foster relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for future growth.
  • Manage existing pipelines of prospects from inquiry through close, lead negotiations, and contract close processes.
  • Analyze market trends to develop a better understanding of customer needs.
  • Identify new market segments to create additional growth opportunities.
  • Establish pricing models that optimize revenue potential while maintaining competitive positioning in the marketplace.
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Effectively communicate business requirements to the technical team, and vice versa.
  • Work closely with the services organization to ensure effective translation of customer requirements during implementation.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior management / Director.
  • Generate whitepapers, thought leadership papers, and sales presentations as required.
  • Create, update, and maintain knowledge repositories.
  • Generate assets such as case studies, customer references, etc. and distribute them across all channels.
  • Willingness to travel, as needed.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 15-20 years of direct sales experience with success selling enterprise digital solutions such as ECM, RPA, Process Mining, Shared Services / GBS automation etc to large enterprises.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding assigned quota along with demonstrated ability leading a successful sales team.
  • Knowledgeable in industry best practices for customer acquisition/retention strategies
  • Prior experience in recruiting/training/mentoring sales teams.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working independently or in a team environment under tight deadlines.
