- Managing a regional HR Shared Services center |Impact on strategy and design of HR Operations
About Our Client
For our client, a global organization, we are conducting an executive search project for the role of HR Shared Services Director, to be based in Kraków. As a director or HR Shared Services Center you will be responsible for the overall design, management, and operation of our client’s HR Shared Service Center (SSC) organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of our Client’s regional shared service center
- Develop and implement an efficient and secure HR operations strategy aligned with company goals
- Define strategy and management of external service providers support and HR Operations
- Lead the HR shared services team, fostering a positive and engaging work environment
- Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation of HR processes
- Partnering with Facilities team in all aspects related to site management
- Collaborate with Business Technology Team to establish/maintain a user-friendly and intuitive shared services technology infrastructure
- Ensure regulatory compliance and internal controls in all HR and payroll operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless employee experience.
- Manage escalated and/or high-risk service issues to mitigate legal and financial exposure to the company.
- Encourage innovation and collaboration, while empowering the HR SSC team to make decisions that are in alignment with the established HR SSC governance framework
Qualification & Requirements
- Degree in business, finance, marketing, human resources or a related field
- Several years of experience in HR operations, including in a senior leadership role managing HR operations
- Demonstrated experience in cooperation with an external vendor
- Outstanding leadership and people management skills
- Strong business acumen with a strategic mindset
- Excellent interpersonal skills to immediately establish the necessary credibility on all the levels of the organization
- Experience in successfully managing and developing a professional team of over 50 FTEs
- Project management experience, excellent organizational skills, with ability to set priorities and meet tight deadlines
