Your role is to lead the global LIPTON T&I business services department that supports a high growth, outsourced business.

Head of LIPTON Global Business Services

Key Responsibilities

Key attributes of the role are as follows:

  • Establish best in class Global Business Service organisation focussing on solutions to enhance the customer and employee experience, driving efficiencies and quality
  • Be a growth player, partner the markets with reporting and analytics insight and exceptional experience
  • Enable the Lipton markets to focus on driving growth and profitability
  • Cross functional Global Business Services approach will be used to leverage scale, efficiencies, and consistent monitoring of controls
  • Globally standardised operating model driving a lean and effective organisation
  • Continuous improvement and process excellence will be central to the Global Business Services organisation
  • Develop talent with right mix of business intimacy and shared services
  • Future Fit organisation that can scale for future growth (organic and acquisitions)

  • Be the best-in-class GBS organisation focused on delivering value and enhance business partner experience.
  • GBS is a business partner for Central Functions and management units / markets to transform and deliver business operations
  • GBS sets the goal to achieve industry leading process performance and drive business metrices and growth
  • GBS has right mix of talent operating through a network of hubs in collaboration with strategic partners
  • GBS partners with Central Functions to set up Centres of Expertise (CoE) colocated with GBS
  • GBS partners business in Finance, Procurement and P&O operations and has orchestration layers of Controls and Process Excellence across services

Qualification & Requirements

Required Knowledge and Experiences:

  • Very senior leader, with least 15 years of experience in a complex GBS/BPO environment with tier 1, 2 and 3 organizations
  • Ability to work in a private equity environment
  • Experience of managing large teams including recruiting, developing, and coaching a team, setting the direction, driving execution, and initiating change.
  • Experience in consumer goods industry is a plus

Required Skills and personality:

  • Chartered Financial accountant
  • Good understanding of Masterdata, Record to Report, Source to pay, S2P and controls processes
  • Transformation and change management skills
  • Strong network in near and offshore service hubs
  • Team player, incl being able to challenge your colleagues and other stakeholders
  • Keeping high standards in terms of integrity and quality of output
  • Structured and process & policy oriented
  • Being able to work and deal with deadlines, while maintaining a healthy work-life balance
  • Excellent communication skills (in English)
