Head of Controlling

Key Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the layout, analysis and optimization of:
• Ofmanagementrapportering to the Board of Directors and CFO, CEO/COO (management team).
• OfFinancial group reporting. This includes commercial figures, FTE headcount reporting, comments and analysis of the data. You prepare the report and ensure that it complies with the compliance guidelines for group reporting.
• You take a leading role in the coordination of theannual budget and forecasts before all entities separate and on consolidated level.
• You are closely involved in the preparation and evaluation ofbusinessplannen, investment and divestment projects. You perform the necessary ad hoc analyses and share your insights/feedback with your management colleagues and any business partners involved.
• Icoaches, motivates and leads the very strong controlling team of 6 Business Controllers. You support them by sharing your experiences with them and let them flourish in their responsibilities so that they can act as true business partners for all management levels and as advisors based on their in-depth business knowledge.
• In addition to a stable continuity in the team and growing performances, you strive forrelevant date becomes sufficient for all entities analysed and challenged where you are responsible for a permanent interaction between the Business Controllers and the Managing Directors/Business Managers of the various BU’s.
• The business of the organization is growing rapidly, with a movement towards a more centralized structure with Competence Centers and a central IT environment, which is why you are also a key person inharmonisation, Uniforming in Further optimization in the reporting and in the approach of the business partners.
• In order to know the business inside and out and to monitor a good feeling with it, you are theBusiness Controller of the shared service center, which mainly consists of personnel, IT and internal banking related activities and a smaller business entity.

Qualification & Requirements

• You have aMaster diploma in Economics/Finance + about 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in business controlling/ or external audit + business controlling in an international environment.
• You are aPeople person and a born leader who does NOT profile himself above the team, but mainly positions himself present/ visible and accessible next to the members of the team. As a Manager, you know how to coach, motivate and make your team members perform even better in their position.
• You areanalytical set up and make quick links between the figures and the business, ideally you already have experience in a distribution context.
• You are a down to earth, but creative problem solver and work hands-on, pragmatic and goal-oriented. You know how to keep a helicopter view as well as work on a detailed level;
• You can connect strongly and be impactfulcommunicate with different stakeholders within different layers of the organization;
• You are an Excel wizzard, you know all the nooks and crannies of this program. Experience with Power BI or Power Query? Big plus!
• You are fluent inDutch and English, knowledge of French is a plus.
