Description

You will join the group’s Finance department, reporting to the VP Finance Global. You will lead a team of project managers and financial solutions experts, contributing to the continuous improvement and efficiency of the finance function through organization, tools and processes.

Your main responsibilities will be to promote financial solutions core models and best practices, and lead projects with the group IT department, local finance teams across the world, as well as external consultants.

Global Finance Transformation Director

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the SAP Finance team:

  • The Finance function throughout the implementation of the SAP implementation roadmap worldwide (supporting local teams in the countries from the study to the implementation of S/Hana)
  • Continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to developments in SAP ECC and S/Hana
  • New Management Control and Profitability Analysis capabilities with SAP S/Hana

Develop financial tools (Anaplan global financial planning and analysis platform):

  • Designing the solution with the group’s regions
  • Workshops with IT, Finance and consultant teams
  • Development of the solution, testing and deployment (via Change Management)
  • Internal Anaplan modeling capabilities
  • Harmonization of financial rules and convergence of financial processes
  • Harmonized management control reporting compared to ad hoc local reporting

Develop and harmonize BI and AI (sales forecasts, data warehouse projects):

  • Ensure the harmonization of BI Finance at the global level, support local production, develop Masterdata governance

Harmonize Shared Service Centers around the world:

  • Efficiency and productivity processes in Accounting, Reporting and Consolidation
  • Automation and RPA
  • The evolution of the Accounting function in coordination with regional CFOs
  • Cross-functional capabilities and monitoring various developments (Sales reconciliation, etc.)

Qualification & Requirements

The future employee must have proof of higher education such as bac+5:

  • Engineering and/or Business School
  • A recognized university cycle

The practice of English is essential because it constitutes the daily working language.

The candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of professional experience in financial transformation projects within large multinational organizations.

Know-how and interpersonal skills:

  • A very strong taste for strategic and operational subjects and an ability to understand a wide variety of subjects,
  • A capacity for adaptation and great intellectual curiosity,
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills,
  • Demonstrated experience in team management and cross-functional management/influence
  • Strong ability to onboard stakeholders and generate commitment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of SAP ECC, S/Hana, Anaplan
