Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to support operational excellence and value creation for the Össur company.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate the collaboration of the site personnel, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure effective recruitment, training program for the local management team securing adequate staffing levels and skill sets.
- Ensure that financial resources are allocated effectively and within established guidelines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and community partners.
- Represent the site in meetings, presentations, and negotiations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and execution of site-specific strategic plans in alignment with the overall organizational strategy.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive factors to inform strategic decision-making and drive business growth.
- Monitor industry developments and recommend innovative solutions or initiatives to enhance the site’s competitiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Qualification & Requirements
- extensive experience (10+ years) in global business services management, including a significant portion in a leadership role;
- proven track record of successfully managing global business services operations in a complex and dynamic environment;
- strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, driving a culture of excellence and high performance;
- excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of driving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction;
- exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels;
- experience in managing strategic partnerships, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations;
- demonstrated ability to drive large-scale transformation initiatives and lead organizational change;
- sound knowledge of risk management, compliance, and governance principles in business services.
