Description
The Engagement & Change Lead is accountable for driving the stakeholder engagement strategy and roadmap for Business Operations.
Key responsibilities include defining the change strategy, assessing change impacts, maintaining a detailed change management plan/s, and delivering key change activities. This is a high impact role requiring cross-functional collaboration to drive change adoption and efficacy across the organisation. Overall, the Engagement & Change Lead plays a pivotal role in leading and managing change initiatives, driving transformation and organisation change for Business Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Design Business Operations Engagement strategy and change narrative
- Build the strategy and change narrative for Business Operations
- Build a strong engagement strategy and framework with Business Operations internal stakeholders and Sanofi senior leaders
- Work closely with Service towers heads and transition management leaders to identify opportunities for change and develop and implement strategies to achieve the desired outcomes
- Establish engagement and change management methodology, process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes through transformation program
- Maintain strong connection with the change leads inside and outside of BO in the context of the Enterprise transformation
- Develop and implement change management best practices and standards across the organisation
- Assess the effectiveness of change management activities through data driven results
Execute Change Campaigns
- Lead or provide significant input in the development of communication plans, sponsor roadmaps, stakeholder assessments, training plans and resistance management plans
- Create actionable deliverables for the core change management plans: Sponsor Plan, People Manager Plan, Communications Plan, and Training Plan
- Provide change management guidance and support to the team in the development and execution of the change management strategy and plans
- Acknowledge and address any client issues or feedback, resolving with intent to exceed client expectations
- Ensure effective adoption of transformation program changes – working closely with the Transformation lead
Engagement with Key Stakeholders
- Build relationships and work closely with Business Operations, Transformation Lead and key senior stakeholders, obtaining buy-in and engagement throughout the change process
- Lead change workshops for stakeholders impacted by the change
- Monitor and report on the progress of change initiatives, providing regular updates to senior leaders and stakeholders
Monitor implementation and Change Success Metrics
- Identify change risks and anticipated points of resistance, developing plans to mitigate
- Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results and present findings to stakeholders
- Administer measurement systems to track adoption, utilisation and proficiency of change
- Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress including adoption
- Champion a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
- 10 years experience as a Change Management Lead or similar role in a shared services environment
- 5 years experience in the Life Science industry
- Strong project management skills, with experience leading change initiatives
- Track record of advising and delivering complex change programmes
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent active listening skills
- Ability to influence others to move towards a common vision or goal
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences with differing levels of knowledge and experience
