Description

Our client is a rapidly growing company in the production sector in the Rhine-Neckar region. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, the salary range is 130,000 to 150,000 euros annually plus a bonus. We are looking for an experienced Director Finance (m/f/d) as part of the recruitment process.

Director Finance

Key Responsibilities

  • Merging distributed financial departments/processes and setting up a (decentralized) shared service center
  • Direct global leadership of 12 employees
  • Function as the main contact person for business matters within the group, especially with regard to planning, forecasting and monthly and annual financial statements
  • Project management and support in the introduction of group-wide standards as well as the automation of controlling processes
  • Balance sheet analysis and evaluation of national and international subsidiaries
  • Writing reports on business results, projects and action plans including advice on relevant issues
  • Creation and coordination of presentations for projects and board meetings
  • Development of key performance indicator systems to evaluate results, costs, prices and liquidity
  • Definition of KPIs for group controlling
  • Development and continuous improvement of financial reporting at group level
  • Creation of ad hoc analyses
  • Optimization of business processes as well as BI and reporting systems

Qualification & Requirements

  • Completed degree in economics with a focus on controlling, finance or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable environment, ideally in investment or group controlling
  • Experience in scaling business processes as well as with OKR and agile working
  • Knowledge of budget preparation and forecasting processes
  • Experienced use of the MS Office package, SAP Business One and LucaNet
  • Fluent oral and written English skills
  • Strong affinity for numbers and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
