Description

The Communications Solutions Creative Development Lead will play a critical role in scaling and growing a team that provides presentation, video, graphics and other creative services to business teams and leaders across various functions and sectors.

Deputy Director Communications Solutions

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as trusted S&T service delivery partner to business teams and leaders across various functions and sectors.
  • Lead, inspire, enable, energize and manage a team of creative services professionals who support PepsiCo business leaders with internal and external communications.
  • Ensure on time and quality delivery of Communications Solutions Creative Development service catalog outputs including presentation graphic design, video and motion graphics, other graphics, print collateral, etc.
  • Responsible for standardizing and simplifying; driving process excellence, best practices, and digitalization; rigorous prioritization and demand management; skills and capability building.
  • Contribute to roadmap for evolving and digitalizing the presentation services at PepsiCo including managing an enterprise third party supplier.
  • Have a creative and innovative vision, ability to lead through change with clear, concise communication skills that provide direction to the internal team.
  • Create and sustain a culture of excellence.
  • Support direct reports through mentoring and coaching in growing their functional and managerial capabilities.
  • Provide timely feedback on team member performance.
  • Address any gaps in team competencies (training and development) together with forming developmental plans for the existing team.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Background leading operational teams, graphic and video design and creative direction (agency or creative services supplier experience),
  • Experience collaborating with the Communications function.
  • Digitally savvy (AI enthusiast).
  • Strong project management skills, track record of overseeing a global operations or in a service delivery model.
  • Experience with project management and time tracking tools (Monday.com and Timely)
  • Ability to manage time effectively across multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders, requiring good organizational and communications skills to ensure requests are delivered on time.
  • Fluency in English, spoken and strong writing skills. Expertise in associate press writing style (and PepsiCo writing guide).
  • Proven global delivery experience and experience working in a multi-cultural environment across multiple geographies and time zones.
  • Strong relationship skills / experience working with senior leadership across functions and geographies.
  • Ability to solve and navigate complex situations through critical and creative thinking; manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven leadership, strategy, decision making and influencing skills.
  • Experience building high-performing, digitally enabled and engaged teams.
  • Experience working with an organization like PepsiCo (e.g., brand environment, similar size, scale, markets, complexity)
  • Working knowledge of project management systems and AI tools.
  • Global Capability Center, Global Business Services or service delivery experience preferred but not required.
