Description
As The Associate Director of Global Business Services (GBS) Service Lifecycle Management you will play a key role in driving the strategic growth and development of GBS services. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and implementing new service offerings and process improvements to enhance the value and efficiency of GBS operations.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including GBS leadership, Global Process Owners, functional experts, and external partners, to develop and execute service lifecycle strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the current GBS service portfolio and identify opportunities for expansion, improvement, and optimization.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and best practices in GBS service offerings.
- Develop and maintain a roadmap for service development initiatives, prioritizing based on business impact and strategic alignment
- Lead the ideation, evaluation, and implementation of new GBS service offerings, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Conduct feasibility studies, business case development, and financial analysis to assess the viability and potential return on investment of new services.
- Define service requirements, performance metrics, and service level agreements (SLAs) for new offerings.
- Collaborate with process owners and internal partners to implement process changes
- Monitor and measure the efficiency of process improvements, making adjustments as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including GBS leadership, business units, and external partners.
- Ensure alignment between service development initiatives and business objectives.
- Provide regular updates and reports on service development progress and outcomes to partners.
- Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption and implementation of new services and process improvements.
- Communicate service development initiatives, progress, and benefits to internal and external stakeholders through various channels, such as presentations, workshops, and written communications.
Qualification & Requirements
- Strong ability to interact professionally, effectively relate and communicate with GBS Customers, partners at all levels of the organization and outside vendors
- Proven track record in building confidence and trust with internal and external partners and influence decision making
- Broad understanding of end to end business process such as Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources
- Ability to create vision/direction, develop strategies, build roadmap and business case to effectively lead transformation
- Strong planning, organization, and analytical skills
- Experience leading organizational change, process improvement and operating model design
- Knowledge of project management, Continuous Improvement and LEAN Six Sigma principles and methodologies would be a plus
