Description

This is a key leadership role that interacts and at times influences senior business and finance leaders, deals with key customers and interacts with sales leaders to influence and drive collections, as well as effective billing solutions.

Agreement to Cash Senior Director

Key Responsibilities

  • Be fully responsible for the billing process execution, process and controls around billing reconciliations and drive month end close processes for proper recognition.
  • Be fully responsible for accounts receivable health $6B revenue P&L. This includes understanding accounts receivables trends, key drivers of debt by customer segment and crafting plans to manage past dues and minimize past due growth.
  • Be fully responsible for cash collection targets and managing uncollectible debt. This includes building and driving strategic plans to collect past dues, partnering with commercial solutions and introducing new ways of working for effective results.
  • Coach, guide and give direction to a team. Develop them for future growth.
  • The role will also be responsible for performance management and line manager activities for direct reports, including performance reviews and working with HR on relevant matters of a team including Business Process Outsource resources
  • This will include contributing to planning, budgeting and forecasting in relation to A2C headcount. This includes being fully responsible for functional budget management.
  • Longer term, supporting the implementation and execution of the integration of acquisitions, new businesses and additional countries / businesses into the A2C model.
  • Ensuring stakeholder relationships are maintained and leading cross-functional (Sales, Operations, Finance) sessions to drive the eradication of the root causes of the most frequently occurring disputes, ensuring that action plans are documented and executed on time.
  • Overseeing and assisting with all A2C internal and external audit requirements and queries. Responsible for operationalising global internal audit recommendations

Qualification & Requirements

  • Strong expertise in accounts receivable principles including reserve methods
  • Track record of delivering financial results
  • Track record of being a strong change agent that drives a high performance culture with a continuous improvement mindset in a highly transactional environment with business outsourcing partners
  • Ability to project manage, lead and work collaboratively in a matrixed/shared services environment with a large number of stakeholders to deliver end to end continuous process improvement
  • Ability to work globally
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and able to create impactful, concise and easily understood presentations, and is able to effectively engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to set clear priorities for self and others.
  • Able to consume large amounts of information, synthesize and take action.
