Description

The Director, Value Realization & Benefits Management is accountable for defining, governing, tracking, and realizing the financial and non-financial value delivered by Group Services to the Corporate & the Group Verticals.

The role ensures that GS transformation initiatives, service expansions, and operational improvements are underpinned by robust business cases, aligned to strategic priorities, and deliver measurable, sustainable value.

This role acts as the custodian of value discipline across GS: from opportunity identification and investment approval through to benefit realization, reporting, and executive decision-making.

Director, Value Realization & Benefits Management – Dubai Holding Group Services

Key Responsibilities

GS Value Framework & Governance

  • Define and maintain the Group Services Value Realization Framework, including value categories (cost, productivity, quality, control, experience, growth enablement).
  • Establish consistent business case standards, financial assumptions, and approval thresholds across GS.
  • Ensure alignment between GS initiatives, Group strategy, and Value Creation objectives.

Business Case Development & Investment Discipline

  • Partner with Transformation, Service Pillars, and Account Management to shape compelling, decision-ready business cases for GS initiatives.
  • Challenge assumptions, benefits, phasing, and risks to ensure credibility and executive confidence.
  • Support investment governance forums with clear, comparable, and prioritized cases.

Value Realization Tracking & Reporting

  • Own the end-to-end value realization lifecycle: baseline → target → delivery → realized benefits.
  • Develop and manage GS Value Dashboards tracking financial and operational benefits at portfolio, service, and account level.
  • Ensure benefits are transparently tracked, validated, and communicated to senior GS and Business leadership.

Portfolio Performance & Financial Oversight

  • Track GS transformation and improvement portfolios across CapEx, OpEx, and benefits delivery.
  • Partner with Group Finance on budgeting, forecasting (1YP / 3YP), and performance reporting related to GS initiatives.
  • Provide early warning on value leakage, delivery risks, or underperformance, and support corrective actions.

Business & Vertical Engagement

  • Act as a trusted partner to Business Unit CFOs, COOs, and Strategy leads on GS value delivery.
  • Support Account Management in demonstrating GS value during QBRs, steering committees, and executive forums.
  • Translate complex operational and financial data into clear executive narratives.

Benchmarking & Continuous Improvement

  • Own GS benchmarking data (internal and external) across cost, productivity, quality, and control metrics.
  • Use benchmarks to challenge performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support future business cases.
  • Lead post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and realized value vs plan.

Capability Building & Standards

  • Establish standard tools, templates, and methodologies for value tracking, benefits realization, and reporting.
  • Coach GS leaders and teams in value-based thinking and financial discipline.
  • Build a small centre of expertise for value realization within GS.
