Description
As Lead Business Services (m/w/d) at our Hanover site, you will take responsibility for building and leading a high-performing management support team that ensures efficient administrative support and set the necessary governance in direct coordination with the management team for Operation DC. You and your team will act as key enablers for the success of the business unit responsible for maintaining and operating our onshore and offshore direct-current assets.
Your focus will be on process optimization, digitalization, and standardization creating transparency and reliability across all supportive management activities.
This is a hands on leadership role, offering you the opportunity to adapt structures, shape new processes and their RACI, and develop a strong team culture. We are looking for someone who is intrinsically motivated, passionate about creating solutions and support. In addition eager to drive change in a dynamic environment.
You will lead a team with different professionals, manage interfaces within the business unit Field Operations DC as well as other units.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the leadership and development of your team in line with modern and employee-oriented people management
- Your team is responsible for creating and supporting the implementation of our internal business governance as well as internal and external committee work, including shareholder reporting and management.
- The team drives the implementation and continuous improvement of a professional risk, quality as well as business performance management
- The coordination of the integrated business planning is key responsibility
- Internal communication also falls within your team’s remit
- You will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders, focus on the direct management team Field Operations DC and support it accordingly
- The development of the unit strategy in accordance with the TenneT strategy is also your team’s responsibility
- You will be responsible for promoting an appreciative culture within TenneT that focuses on collaboration and innovation
- In addition, you will accompany and support the implementation of change processes
Qualification & Requirements
- You hold a degree in International Management or a comparable qualification.
- You have proven experience in service organizations and governance functions, combined with solid knowledge of change management, processes, and strategy.
- You are capable of managing external service providers and navigating complex stakeholder networks effectively.
- You are intrinsically motivated to build new structures, lead change, and foster a strong team culture.
- You possess an analytical mindset and curiosity to challenge the status quo, and you communicate fluently in German and English.
